• My new favorite falafel place is called Azuri. It's awesome, and it's on 51st near 10th. Don't take Ezra, the owner too seriously -- especially during lunch. He gets a little tense.
• Also, Judd recommends "Houmous Asli", in SOHO as being very "authentic" working class Israeli.
• I get terrific sandwiches at this deli. It's pretty close to work, and has great subs. It's called the Italian Food Center, and it's at 186 Grand St. (corner of Mulberry)
